MyHome Improver was launched to make it easier – and less stressful – for Chicagoers to transform their existing homes to better fit the changing needs of their families. We’ve been in the business of renovating and remodelling homes for more than 20 years and have won several awards while working as part of a franchise renovation company.
We’ve also extensively renovated two homes of our own, so we get how hard it can be – the initial excitement and anticipation, then nervousness, confusion and feeling overwhelmed that can follow. It can take constant chasing, waiting, researching, querying, discussing, debating, finalising, revising – and that’s just the design phase!

Kris Malloy
As the owner and Managing Director, Kris will guide you through the design and product selection process. He’s a skilled tradesman and will oversee the construction of your project. He’s been renovating Chicago homes for over 20 years and has been involved in more than 200 renovation projects during his career.
Carpentry Team
Our carpentry team is made up of several trade-qualified and licenced carpenters. John, Steve and Dan are our qualified lead carpenters with extensive experience on a range of different construction projects. Whilst Jeff, Max and Alan are all qualified carpenters that are great supports to our leads. MyHome Improver is a big supporter of the apprenticeship training programmes and currently have Dave, John, 'Fern' and Keith who are working through their apprenticeships with the support of the rest of the team.
